BCS Failing Again! Only 9 more years to get it right! November 19th, 2006 - by Richard Okelberry - My very first website ever was a site dedicated to calculating the Bowl Championship Series ranking when the new system was first introduced. The site was widely popular and featured on ESPN during the first year of the BCS. What made the site different was the fact that I calculated a team's entire strength of schedule by including both past and future opponents. The argument was simple. A team will eventually play another team so if the data is already available and will eventually be calculated in, why not just do it now. UNL Skybars Open for Business. Administration Continues to Ignore State Alcohol Prohibition in Skyboxes. October 26th, 2006 - Now I know that there isn't a single husker fan out there that is surprised by the fact that the elite members of the UNL skybox community are drinking alcohol during the Nebraska football games. I think that just about everyone in this State has come to except that there is a certain level of aristocracy with the UNL system. UNL Stadium May Not Be ADA Compliant. April 1st, 2006 It is difficult to grow up in Nebraska and not gain at least a small amount of affection and pride in Nebraska Football. For most, it is more than just pride, but a full blown obsession. This is a state where season ticket carry with it a certain social standing and the better those tickets are, the higher your position in the pecking order you sit.
